It’s been 1month  since I moved to Mponda.

First day, Biiiiiggg welcome by the 4head teachers from different schools in Mangochi area.

When I entered t my house, I found there is no door protectors, no electricity, no water.

I got door protectors and electricity in the middle of the night.

What was worse is that water, I didn’t have water for 10days!! Water board does not do job.

I went the water board 3 times to ask them to ,,,,, no, force them to connect the pipe.

After threatening them with reporting to the head office, they came and did the job.

Now I have water, electricity(blackouts are everyday though,) and doors!! Finally I’m able to live like Malawian.

Teaching is my school is fun and challenging, students do not have any textbooks and their level is very low.

Malawi’s secondary school is distinguished in 4 patterns.

1 Government Secondary School (boarding school)

2 Missionary Secondary School (boarding school)

3  Secondary School (boarding school)

4 CDSS: Community Day Secondary School (not boarding school)

Budgets for each school and students level are in this order.

And my school is Mponda’s CDSS.

No money to buy equipments for studying(ex chemicals for lab).

Also since my school is not boarding school, students have to walk or cycle to the school. And some are coming far far away. So when it rains they can’t come to the school, students can’t have lunch during the lunch time.

Anyway very very challenging but in my school I’m having fun with students, teachers, goats and chickens.lol

And more over is so nice to feel that I really feel I am needed here.

Life after work is kind of boring.>.<

It is just too hot that I can’t think of doing something=( little by little I’m getting used to this.

And almost every night we have blackouts and I can’t study or read books.

During the blackouts, I usually chat with coworkers or with my security guard to learn Chechiwa(local language). But if it goes like this every day, I feel like I’m wasting time, and I want to find something I can workout or study!!

BTW, I started to own a kitty.

Her name is “Shima”. Like the staple food in Malawi”Sima”.

An d going to won a puppy soon.

That is how I’m doing recently, only one big thing is missing in my life here,  can’t help though>.<.

私がMpondaに移ってから、1か月がたちました。

1日目(マンゴチ・エリアの異なる学校の4head教師によって歓迎されるBiiiiiggg)。

私がtを入力した時、私の家、私は見つけました、そこに、ドア保護者、電気、水でありません。

私は夜の中頃にドア保護者および電気を得ました。

さらに悪いことに、その水があります。私は10日間水を持っていませんでした!!

水道局は仕事をしません。

私は行きました、それらに尋ねる水道局3回、いいえ、パイプを接続することをそれらに強います。

本社へ出頭することでそれらを脅迫した後に、それらは来て、仕事をしました。

今、私は水、電気(しかしながら、停電は日常です、)およびドアを持っています!!

最後に、私はマラウィ人のように生きることができます。

教えることは私の学校です、楽しく、挑戦していること、学生は教科書を持っていません。また、レベルは非常に低い。

マラウイの中等学校は4つのパターンの中で識別されます。

1 政府中等学校(寄宿学校)

2 宣教師中等学校(寄宿学校)

3 中等学校(寄宿学校)

4 CDS:コミュニティー日中等学校(寄宿学校ではない)

各学校および学生レベルの予算はこの順になっています。

また、私の学校はMpondaのCDSSです。

勉強すること(研究所用のex化学薬品)のための買い設備への金銭はありません。

さらに私の学校が寄宿学校ではないので、学生は学校へ歩くか循環しなければなりません。

また、いくらかは遠くにずっと遠くに来ます。

そのように、雨が降る場合、それらは学校へ来ることができません、学生は昼食時の間ランチを食べることができません。

とにかく非常に挑戦的、しかし、学校で、私は学生、教師、ヤギおよびchickens.lolと楽しんでいます。

そしてもっと上方へ、私がここで必要であると実際に思うと思うのに非常に快適です。

仕事の後の生命はちょっと退屈である>。。<

何かに=(少しずつ、私はこれに慣れています。またほとんど毎晩、私たちは停電を持っており、私が本を研究し、読むことができないことを持っている。停電中に、私、通常、同僚と歓談する、あるいはChechiwa(現地語)を学習する私の警備員と。しかし、それが毎日、このように行く場合、私は感じる、私が時間を浪費しているように、また私は何かを見つけたい、私、できる、練習または研究)をもたらそうと私が思うことができないことはまったく熱すぎます。

BTWと私は子ネコを所有し始めました。

彼女の名前は「シマ」です。

d、行くこと、に、すぐに子犬を得させられました。

そのようにして、私は最近行っています、1つの一大事だけがここの私の生活において見当たりません、支援することができない、が>。<。
