My school

Since I've got here, I didn't really feel like I'm in Africa.

Maybe because of being with other Japanese volunteer and living in Lilongwe, capital city in Malawi.

But this week I went to Mponda's CDSS (Community Day Secondary School).
The school I'm going to work for next 2 years.
Cozy and nice classrooms, the problem is that class room is too small so sometimes, students have to take classes outside. Like this ↓　picture.

私は、ここに着いたので、アフリカにいるように、実際に感じませんでした。

他の日本人ボランティアとありリロングエ(マラウイの首都)に住んでいるのために恐らく。

しかし、今週、私はMpondaのCDSS(コミュニティー日中等学校)に行きました。

学校Iは次の2年の間仕事に行きます。

快適でよい教室、問題は、クラス室がそのように、時々小さすぎるということです、学生はクラスを外部にとらなければなりません。

My house

My house has 1 bed room, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 free room, and 1 toilet and 1 shower room outside.

When I moved there, I will upload more photos.

Local Market

Last week I went to a bank and it took me 1.5 hours to withdraw  just 50,000K(about 250USD).

 Talking about a bank, I have  Malawi Kwacha account and US droller account, but if I deposit USD in my account, I can't withdraw. Malawi government doesn't have foreign currency. So I shouldn't use the USD account or otherwise I'll lose my USD.

Malawi imports lot of things including fuel and provision, and because of lack of foreign currency, we don't have enough gas. Plus there is no train in Malawi, therefor transportation in Malawi is not working and some city have no enough food.

My place is still okay but almost price of everything is going up and up. As far as I could find, everything is more expensive than they are in Japan.

先週、私は銀行へ行きました。また、私は、ちょうど50,000K(250USDに関して)を取消しするのに1.5時間かかりました。
